Robots Meta Tag for products, categories and CMS pages
Meta Robots Extension for Magento 2 allows you to set up Robots Meta Tag for product pages, categories and CMS pages. For each of these entities, a new Meta Robots attribute has been added, with which you can customize the Robots Meta Tag on the page.
Robots Meta Tag and canonical url
If you use Magento 2 Canonical URL Extension to configure the canonical url on your website pages, then the canonical url is not added to the page with the Robots Meta Tag containing the NOINDEX directive.
Robots Meta Tag and localized versions of the page
If you use the Magento 2 Hreflang Extension to indicate localized versions of the page to search engines, then links to its alternative versions are not added to the page where the Robots Meta Tag contains the NOINDEX directive.
Attribute Meta Robots and XML sitemap
If you are using Magento 2 XML Sitemap Extension, then entity urls with Meta Robots attribute contains the NOINDEX directive will be excluded from the XML sitemap.
